Recommendations before and after the procedure
Before the procedure
- Preparation for the CLaCS procedure is simple and does not require any demanding measures.
- You will undergo an initial vascular examination during which the doctor comprehensively evaluates the condition of your veins and the suitability of the procedure.
- It is important to follow the doctor’s instructions carefully so that the procedure is successful and without complications.
- We recommend avoiding tanning and direct sunlight on the treated area to prevent skin irritation.
- On the day of the procedure, do not use creams, oils or other products on the treated area.
- Inform the doctor about all medications you are taking, any allergies or other health issues (e.g. blood clotting disorders).
After the procedure
- After the procedure, there are usually no specific restrictions – follow the doctor’s recommendation.
- Avoid hot baths, saunas and whirlpools for several days.
- If necessary, the doctor will recommend wearing compression stockings.
- Minor bruising or slight swelling is common. However, if you notice severe pain, a large swollen area, redness or other unusual symptoms, contact your treating doctor.
- Follow all the doctor’s instructions, including follow-up visits – this will support optimal healing and the final result.
